Heirloom's sire is Yoko's Tornado (Tornaado in USA), a mulitiple S.A. Fine Harness Champion in all age groups as well as 1997 S.A. Grand Champion Fine Harness Horse, now standing as stud stallion at KALARAMA FARM, Kentucky.

His dam, Miss Tinkerbelle is sired by Day of Thunder, the half brother of 1997 Five Gaited World Champion, Zoovoorbij Commander in Chief.

He is a combination of the most successful breeding sires of South Africa, all Nr 1 on the Sire Rating of their time

Heirloom started his training at KE Stables under the guidance of Kevin Eltringham. He was gelded due to an undescended testis and is know concentrating on his training in harness and under the saddle. After a succesfull career in the Gentleman Three Gaited Division with Kevin Eltringham he has been sold to Marius Day. He and Marius continue to win ribbons.
